FAQs
How Is a Six-Cylinder Sketch Created?
Each sketch is hand-drawn – without digital tools.
Line by line, a unique work of art is created on high-quality paper, based on photos of your vehicle.
It is not a reproduction, but a genuine one-of-a-kind piece.
Are you a trained automotive designer?
As a child, I always wanted to be an automotive designer.
But no – instead of automotive design, I chose communication design.
I taught myself my technique, inspired by my favorite designer Michael Mauer.
A YouTube interview in which he explained the creation process of a sketch ignited in me the courage to just try it.
Even during my school days, I filled every notebook and every book page with car sketches.
While design students learn a fixed style, I took the time to understand vehicles in my own way – their forms, generations, characteristics.
I immediately recognize where the soul of a model lies and which lines need to be emphasized to make it look alive.
My goal is not to create a perfect technical drawing,
but to recreate reality – through feeling, precision, and respect for the original.
What information do I need for my sketch?
One or two good photos of your car are sufficient – ideally from the side in daylight.
The more details are visible (rims, spoilers), the more precise the drawing can be.
Can I choose the style?
No.
Beyond a certain point, a handwriting cannot be changed.
Every line is created intuitively – just as I see and feel the vehicle.
You will find enough references on the website and social media to understand my style.
If it appeals to you, trust me.
If not, then it's simply not right for you.
How long does production take?
Depending on the order volume, between 7 and 14 days.
Each sketch is meticulously crafted by hand, so longer delivery times may occur during periods of high demand.
What material is drawn on?
The sketches are drawn on high-quality, light beige artist paper (A4) using professional design pens.
Can I personalize my sketch?
Yes – upon request, your name, license plate, or other preferences can be subtly integrated.
Please specify your request during the order process.
Is the drawing also available digitally?
No. Every sketch is an authentic hand-drawn original – not a digital reproduction.
Digital files are neither created nor sent.
Can I give the Sketch as a gift?
Yes – you can have the sketch sent directly to the recipient.
Upon request, we can include a handwritten card with your personal message.
Is the sketch supplied framed?
By default, it is delivered unframed, carefully protected and flat-packed.
A suitable frame can optionally be selected in the shop.
What makes a six-cylinder sketch special?
It combines design, emotion, and precision.
Every line comes from the hand of an artist who is part of Porsche culture himself.
Not a mass-produced item – but a moment, captured on paper.
