Porsche - An Honest Love

Porsche - Eine ehrliche Liebe

My passion for Porsche is an honest, self-developed love.
I didn't grow up with the brand; I discovered it in my mid-twenties –
during a phase when I understood understatement as a life philosophy.

For me, Porsche is like a good whiskey:
It takes time and maturity to understand its taste and truly appreciate its character.
It’s an honest taste, developed according to a tried-and-true, always consistent recipe.
And just like with whiskey, older models become even more exclusive and valuable over time –
leading to an ever-deeper appreciation for them.

Timeless elegance instead of a loud entrance

While others raved about loud supercars like Ferrari or Lamborghini –
impressive works of art that I also enjoy sketching in my free time
to better understand the fascination of automotive design –
Porsche captivated me with its timeless elegance, versatility, and quiet strength.

A Porsche is always just right.
Parking garage? No problem. Racetrack? No problem. The way to the racetrack? No problem.

I admire how quiet the engine is at idle – compared to other manufacturers –
and the beautiful sound it produces at full throttle on the racetrack.
This versatility conveys a sense of freedom that is unbeatable for me.

Loyalty in design, stance in character

What fascinates me most about Porsche is this consistency in design.
Porsche remains true to itself and its values,
challenges customers to adapt to this timelessness –
and never loses respect for its own tradition.

This is something I deeply admire.
Because true strength lies not in what is new, but in what endures.
